Jane Woodland brings to the team at Julie Cork & Associates 28 years experience in a variety of Commonwealth and other Agencies managing service delivery areas as well as undertaking senior HR and Project Management roles.
She has managed client service delivery offices for the Commonwealth Employment Service, Austudy, and Centrelink. She has also managed large scale national change management projects for Centrelink, the Australian National Training Authority and the Australian Taxation Office. Additionally, Jane has spent some time working in both the tertiary sector (University of Queensland) and the Queensland public sector.
Jane has strong skills in people management, organisational review and group facilitation. She has led many different teams of up to 110 staff during which she has overseen the development of practical performance assessment tools tailored for local needs. Her particular focus, indeed passion, and area of expertise is staff and customer satisfaction and she has consistently enjoyed success in achieving improvements in this area. For many years she has lived and breathed managing people from experienced staff to difficult staff and those working in challenging service delivery environments.
Immediately prior to joining Julie Cork & Associates, Jane worked in the Australian Taxation Office, where her roles were Assistant Director, (Organisation Development) and Project Manager in the Workforce Strategy and Management Unit. Jane spent over two years as the person solely responsible for managing large scale national attraction, selection and recruitment projects for the Australian Taxation Office, delivering hundreds of staff to sites across the country. Jane was also responsible for the successful implementation of the Tax Office’s succession management strategy, which has a major focus on the aging workforce.
Jane has always been passionate about developing and inspiring her staff to do their best and brings that passion and enthusiasm to the PPM program.
